Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services for growth-oriented entrepreneurs. Participants gain practical skills to take their business to the next level, with topics like financial statements, negotiations, and marketing. Business owners develop an actionable growth plan for their business with the help of advisors and a network of like-minded entrepreneurs. The program is free for participants and delivered in partnership with academic institutions across the country. To date, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses has served 13,600+ businesses in all 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.

Proven results:

• 44% of 10,000 Small Businesses alumni reported creating new jobs within 6 months; 53% within 18 months; and 56% within 30 months.
• 68% of 10,000 Small Businesses alumni reported an increase in revenues within 6 months; 72% within 18 months; and 75% within 30 months.
• 85% of 10,000 Small Businesses alumni are doing business with each other
• The program also has a 96% completion rate
